Requires the Minister of Health to develop a national strategy on the prevention, recognition, and management of brain injuries (concussions, traumatic brain injuries, acquired brain injuries), in consultation with provincial health ministers, brain-injury organizations, and survivors. Canada estimated to have 1.5 million people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury (Brain Injury Canada).
