Email the address below with the URL of the affected page and a brief description of the problem. If you have an official source (Parliament of Canada link, etc.), include it.

For politicians and their staff

If you are the subject of a profile on Branch and believe information about you is materially inaccurate, we take this seriously. To expedite review:

Send the request from an official email (parl.gc.ca, gouv.qc.ca, etc.)
Identify the specific information disputed (exact quote)
Provide the correct official source
Indicate whether it's an update (vote, role) or a rectification (error)

Commitment: we acknowledge within 24 hours and complete review within 5 business days.

How we handle corrections

We verify any disputed information against the official source (Parliament of Canada, Elections Canada, provincial legislatures).
If an error is confirmed, we correct it and publish a dated correction note.
Editorial opinions and summaries may be revised for clarity but are not changed under pressure.
We do not remove content because of objections; we correct it or add context.

Formal legal notices

Cease-and-desist letters, formal demands, or other legal correspondence must be sent to legal@branchpolitics.ca with "LEGAL NOTICE" in the subject line. We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours.
