An Act to amend the Parliament of Canada Act (need to know)
Amends the Parliament of Canada Act so members of the House of Commons and the Senate may apply for the 'secret' (Level II) security clearance to receive classified national-security briefings on the basis of their parliamentary role. Designed to respond to NSICOP and CSIS warnings about parliamentarians without clearance being targeted by foreign interference.
