An Act to amend the Federal-Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Act and the Income Tax Act. Royal assent March 30, 2023 (S.C. 2023, c. 7). Distributes the one-time $2 billion federal-provincial-territorial health top-up agreed at the February 7, 2023 First Ministers' Meeting. Allocates the funds across provinces and territories on a per-capita basis with northern and Atlantic top-ups, alongside the broader $46 billion in additional federal health-care funding over 10 years that the meeting committed to (the rest of which flowed through bilateral agreements and Canada Health Transfer increases).
