An Act to amend the Citizenship Act (2024)
Earlier version of the lost-Canadians citizenship fix that became C-3 in the 45th Parliament. Restores Canadian citizenship to descendants of Canadians born abroad in the second and subsequent generations, after a 2023 Ontario court ruling that the existing first-generation limit was unconstitutional. The 44-1 version did not advance before the 2025 election.
