An Act to amend the Employment Insurance Act and the Employment Insurance Regulations (Prince Edward Island)
Combines all of Prince Edward Island into a single Employment Insurance economic region, replacing the current two-region split (Charlottetown vs. rural PEI) that gives Islanders different EI qualifying thresholds depending on where they live. At report stage in the Senate.
