An Act to amend the Criminal Code (medical assistance in dying)
Amends the Criminal Code to allow advance requests for medical assistance in dying. A person diagnosed with a grievous and irremediable medical condition could record consent in advance, to be acted on after they lose decision-making capacity (most commonly relevant to dementia).
