
Currie Dixon is the 12th Premier of Yukon and leader of the Yukon Party, sworn in after the party won a majority government in the November 3, 2025 territorial election. He is the first premier born in Yukon. Yukon Party MLA for Copperbelt North, he previously represented the riding from 2011 to 2016, serving as a minister in the Pasloski government (Environment, and Economic Development), then returned to the legislature in 2021 and became Yukon Party leader in 2020. His government holds about two-thirds of the 21 seats, with the Yukon NDP as the Official Opposition and a single Liberal remaining.
