Rob Lantz is the 34th Premier of Prince Edward Island (sworn in February 21, 2025) and Leader of the PC Party of Prince Edward Island. He sits in the Legislative Assembly for Stanhope-Marshfield. Succeeded Dennis King, who resigned as PC leader in February 2025 citing personal reasons. Before becoming Premier he was Minister of Economic Development and Innovation. Before provincial politics he was a Charlottetown city councillor. His government tabled Bill 32 (Renters' Protection Act) and Bill 50 (Climate Leadership Adaptation Act) in the 2025 spring sitting.
