Adrien Sala is Minister of Finance of Manitoba (since October 18, 2023). NDP MLA for St. James, first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023. Before politics he was a community development worker in Winnipeg's West End. As Finance Minister he has tabled the Wab Kinew government's first two budgets, including the 2024 elimination of the provincial fuel tax for six months, the gas-tax freeze extension, and the Manitoba Hydro rate-freeze legislation (Bill 36 of the 43rd Legislature).
