An Act to amend the Canada National Parks Act. Royal assent October 3, 2024 (S.C. 2024, c. 21). Adds two new national parks to the Canada National Parks Act schedule: the Ojibway National Urban Park of Canada in Windsor, Ontario (approximately 900 acres of natural land protected by federal designation, a long-standing ask of the City of Windsor and Caldwell First Nation), and the addition of more lands to the existing Wood Buffalo National Park boundary in Alberta and Northwest Territories. Sponsored by Steven Guilbeault as Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
