Melissa Lantsman is Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada (since September 2022) and MP for Thornhill (Ontario), elected in 2021. Before politics she was a senior communications strategist for the federal Conservatives and CIBC. She is the first openly LGBTQ Conservative MP and the first Jewish woman to serve as Conservative Deputy Leader. Has been one of the party's most visible voices in question period on antisemitism, foreign interference, and the Conservative response to the 2025 election.
