Pierre Paul-Hus is Industry Critic for the Conservative Party (since September 2022) and MP for Charlesbourg-Haute-Saint-Charles (Quebec), elected in 2015. Before politics he served 24 years in the Canadian Armed Forces (Royal 22e Régiment), including a tour in Bosnia. Previously Conservative Public Safety Critic. As Industry Critic he has led the party's opposition to the federal industrial-strategy subsidies (Volkswagen St. Thomas, Stellantis-LG NextStar) and the Investment Canada Act expansion in Bill C-34 of 44-1.
