An Act to amend the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 and the Wrecked, Abandoned or Hazardous Vessels Act
Strengthens federal rules on abandoned and wrecked vessels and on the cleanup of toxic substances released from them. Builds on the 2019 Wrecked, Abandoned or Hazardous Vessels Act and brings the Canadian Environmental Protection Act in line with current ocean-pollution standards.
