An Act to give effect to the Red River Métis Self-Government Recognition and Implementation Treaty and to make consequential amendments to other Acts

Implements the Red River Métis Self-Government Recognition and Implementation Treaty between Canada and the Manitoba Métis Federation, signed in 2024. Recognizes the MMF as the formal representative of Red River Métis citizens and sets the framework for jurisdiction transfers in citizenship, governance, and select services.
